Thus, for the medals, and therefore for the right to represent the country in the biggest competitions, fought only two pairs of Minsk - Vick Kovaleva-Jura Belyaev and Les Volodenkova-Vitaly Vakunov. And for metropolitan Eugene Tkachenko-Jura Gulitskogo and Christina Kaunatskoy-Jan Lukowski from Gomel, it was a kind of rehearsal of Belarus Junior Championships to be held next month.
Les Volodenkova - Vitally Vakunov skated their short dance, though not without errors, but with humor. They managed to cope with the pre-launch excitement. But Vick Kovalev - Yuri Belyaev was not feeling very confident, as they were performing to a completely new dance for them- Yankee Polka. The result was appropriate. Leadership in the first day of competition a firm grip Lesya and Vitaly. They are ahead of their rivals Vicky and Jura by four points.

Accompaniment to their speeches was applause and coaches, as well as other participants. Once the program was over, the not numerous audience shouted, "Well done!" Certainly done guys, that dokatali dance in such conditions. But to do it correctly, unfortunately, failed. For the free dance they get four points less than their opponents (yes, those four points, which they won after the short program). Intrigue ... Who will be the champion of Belarus this year? Winner of the competition and the winner of the "silver" shared only five per ... five hundredths in favor of Lesya and Vitaly. Like last year, winning the national championship wins this particular duo.
