lol - he did get a level 1 for his step sequence in the SP though.Lucine's program was fun again but his basics are very poor. Shallow edges, lack of speed, absolutely appalling posture.
I'll probably blow a gasket upon seeing his marks.
I never liked his jungle book FS, but at least it did make me smile a little

Strangely enough, German public broadcasters ARD/ZDF never bother with geoblocks for *others*, and from what I hear, there will be no geoblock for the Olympic figure skating events either

I was going to go away and do something during the resurfacing, but this is great craic watching the Czech youngsters messing about in front of the camera!

Not sure about this.......I've been talking to a guy working for ARD and they simply don't bother with geoblocks. A reason for this is probably the fact the the regular German public broadcasters are free-to-air via satellite in contrast to NOS, ORF, SRF, VRT and the Scandinavians.
They did that yesterday, too, and it cracked me up. Lovely to see they allow it to continue, their enthusiasm is hilarious!

It's from ARD and ZDF, the German "non-private" tv channels. They make every German household pay rather high mandatory charge fees for them, even if you don't own a TV. So this stream having a good quality is what I'd expect! ... and the first good thing I've discovered about the German public broadcaster... ever.
I remember ARD livestreams in the past that were indeed geoblocked. But IIRC they were not sports related. Maybe ARD makes a difference there.

I was watching the Russian stream yesterday, so I missed it.
I'm glad the organisers didn't stop them. Like, never mind us sitting watching at home, it was a bit of entertainment for the spectators rather than getting dizzy watching the zambonis go round and round!
3 Frenchmen in one group. Unless your a Russian ladies skater, it doesn't happen too often having all three from the one country in the same group.
