2014 Olympics Ladies Free Skate

There should have been at least one day off!! Another bad jump and both were bad in that first sequence. :bang:

I also think they should have a day off...I can imagine how exhausting must be for them to compete at such intense level one day after another...

According to the Sochi page, the panel is actually this:

Oh, but I'm sure there'll be no Russianflation.
Just wonder if the crowd today will be "Still Life With Russian Audience" when anyone not a homey skates. :p

Potential is there, but she was way too rushed and messy on those landings. She seems very disappointed and sad

Is there some kind soul to explain how to block some users here?
I mean how to make some users' post invisible to me.
I think I read the post about it before, but I can't remember.

Thanks in advance.

Click their name...go to their profile...select edit ignore list. I've been doing it a lot

Gabrielle Daleman (CAN)....FS = 95.83
Total = 148.44 (into 1st)

When it comes to figure skating, it feels like the Dutch, Belgian, German and British media, TV channels, newspapers etc. have talked about nothing but Plushyenko and especially Lipnitskaia these past couple of weeks. I have never been a fan of Adelina Sotnikova, but right now I'm really hoping she'll medal instead of Lipnitskaia (preferably not gold or silver, though).

Yeah, the same in other countries like Poland, Hungary, Slovenia etc.
It is sad, that other skaters did not get a proper attention. But I knew this would happen

I mightn't have recognised the name when the entry list was released, but I recognised Elizaveta Ukolova as soon as she came out on the ice yesterday.

That's the girl that was about a foot taller than all the other girls in her warm-up group at the Nebelhorn!

Fingers crossed that after the disappointment of only just making it through yesterday, Anne-Line climbs up the order today.

I really want her to make a point to the Norwegian Federation, after their silly-beggers act after Nationals.

And looking forward to Nicole Rajicova. I couldn't remember her from Europeans, but she really impressed me yesterday.

Please explain?

There are some musical pieces that are used over and over and over and over and... They are known as Warhorses. Carmen is probably THE quintessential Warhorse piece. Sing Sing Sing is another Warhorse.

I jokingly said that there are some pieces which aren't quite Warhorses yet, but are on their way to becoming Warhorses. Pina looks like it is heading into Warpony status. Requiem for a Dream.

Got it?

Oh Canada!! Dig us out of this!
I would actually support that proposal. Let the Men's and Ladies' competitions get intertwined and have them do the FS after one day rest each. The FS should be about who can skate best, not about who can recover fastest from the SP.
