I have a question for all of you at GS forum. Do you guys think Yuna could have won solely based on the difference of her PCS points if she was scored a few points higher on PCS compared to Adelina? I know her TES score is a foregone conclusion since there was just no way for her to catch Adelina who didn't make any major mistakes other than the tiny glitch on her three-jump-combo landing. But what about PCS points? I think judges could have scored a couple higher points for Yuna on PCS since she herself went clean as well. In the end, though, I don't think the placement would have changed even with the PCS difference. Also, had Yuna defended the title by receiving higher marks on PCS only when her TES was significantly lower than Adelina's, I predict people would have cried "outrageous overscoring on Yuna" and that kind of thing. :scowl:
Apparently people are attacking Adelina on Facebook/Twitter b/c she won.
I seriously question the sanity of some of these people. She did what she was supposed to do...she didn't judge the event, so why attack her? Some people need to remember this is only a sport and that their life doesn't depend on the outcome. They're coming at her like she strangled their puppy or pushed their grandma down a hill.
What is wrong with people? Are people really that upset? Upset enough to resort to cyber-bullying a 17 year old kid who had no say so in what scores she received? I guess this is one of the many benefits of not being over-emotionally invested in figure skating.
I denounces the result of Sochi ladies figure skating as a fraud, and propose disciplinary sanction on those judges by ISU and a permanent ban of Russia for hosting winter Olympics.

Adelina was also overscored in the the TES.
She got more goe for her jumps than Carolina, Yuna and Gracie(girls with better jumps than Adelina). She also got more GOE for her steps the Mao Asada.
Also, the judges did not mark her flutz. The 3T of the 3Lz+3T was UR. Herstep out on that 3-jump combo should get -2(she gost mostly -1). Her 2A+3T had a bad back posture and awkward and lean landing. That 2A+3T should recieve, at most, +1. Most of the judges gave it +2 and +3.
Do you guys think Yuna could have won solely based on the difference of her PCS points if she was scored a few points higher on PCS compared to Adelina?(your question suggest you have no idea of Adelina's real score. Adelina should have earned in short 66-67which means she had 7-8 ghost points) I know her TES score is a foregone conclusion (you mean Russian TES?) since there was just no way for her to catch Adelina who didn't make any major mistakes other than the tiny glitch on her three-jump-combo landing. (You just show that you have no idea of figure skating) But what about PCS points? I think judges could have scored a couple higher points for Yuna on PCS since she herself went clean as well (again no clue of PCS). In the end, though, I don't think the placement would have changed even with the PCS difference (again I won't fault you for your opinion or favor, but I don't believe "Russian figure" if there is such a thing on earth)Also, had Yuna defended the title by receiving higher marks on PCS only when her TES was significantly lower than Adelina's, I predict people would have cried "outrageous overscoring on Yuna" and that kind of thing.
I will give you a better idea, since you seem to have no clue of reality: Adelina's total score should have amounted to around 207-208 (67 +141) if judged correctly.
Does anyone know when will the gala be (in Sochi time)?
