Like I said, if Sotnikova's jumps or Lipnitskaia's jumps were bad, show the evidence. Lipnitskaia and Sotnikova have podiumed many, many times at senior level, unlike Polina or Li. So, no, again, not in the same league.
No, many fell from 6th to 12th, except for Mao, and a couple of others.
So far, comments that are made are really subjective, so I find it unconvincing. If I had missed lots of flaws in Sotnikova's skate, then I'd be glad to be shown exactly. So far, I don't find her looking like a "boy in skirt", "skating unripe" or like a "car on unpaved road", I find a very athletic skate that is surprisingly lyrical and modern. Her extension/flexibility was good considering her strength, energy and power. Her moves were precise and defined. She hit the notes at the right time, so musicality is great. Really like the choreography, strings and violins, I get it.
