Adelina's spin was the only thing that was better than Yuna's. Her jumps have awkward landings and rough entrances. I don't understand the people who argue that Adelina landed more triples. She made a flutz and stumbled on a double loop.

Wrong. The step sequence in Yuna's LP, is one of the most gorgeous, most emotive I've ever seen.I watched Ladies Free Skate live and then watched last night again on NBC.
Completely agree with your comments: Yuna has her reputation as Queen Yuna, but this shouldn't guarantee her a free ride to win the OMG: her programs (both Short and Long) were NOT polished well, she apparently considered Sochi Olympics as an Assignment instead of her own desire to fight and win. I found her Free Skate is quite boring and lack of energy, her spins should be downgraded...
Many who defend Sotnikova's win say that she skated her best and had more difficult jumps etc., but that's not the point. The point is the judging. And there I really can't comprehend how someone could really claim that every single of her PCS is in the right proportion compared to Kim, Asada and Kostner.
Additionally, despite her technical content, Gracie Gold's skating does still read as very Junior, and as proud as I am of her for landing in 4th, her ungracious treatment to Sotnikova (walking past her and ignoring her) when she found out she won OGM does belie some ego/entitlement issues she'll need to get over if she ever wants to win an Olympic medal.
So you're saying half of a figure skating score should be based on the bias of spectators physically inside the skating rink? Why don't we just have fans call in and vote for their favorite skater like its American Idol?Additionally, be it due to the home crowd's support of Adelina's energy, she sold that program, and unlike Yuna Kim, she planned most of her technical content for the bonus section (unlike Kim, who front loaded her program). I'm a big Yuna Kim fan, but watching the live and tape delayed feeds, I couldn't help but thinking she felt tentative technically and detached from her music.
She's really a queen.I watched Ladies Free Skate live and then watched last night again on NBC.

the difference is only 1.42 point.
Their PCS is almost same in both SP and FP.
YuNa's step sequence got level 3 in SP and FP and Adelina got level 4 and 1.7 GOE.
This is fixed from the beginnig.YuNa was robbed of gold medal.
Thanks for the explanation. Yes, Yuna was robbed and Carolina should be Silver too. I found this on youtube. Watch Sotnikova's one of landings. I am not sure how much she got GOE for this jump. But I am sure the judges didn't deduct any score for this as well as flutz.

Remember how Yuna got silver? Just a couple of days ago? Remember how Adelina got gold? Apparently Adelina outskated Yuna. Congratulations. That should be enough proof for you guys that Yuna is no threat to Adelina, right? Then LEAVE HER ALONE.
For god's sake. What more do you guys want? You already got your gold. You guys already buried Yuna as much as you could do -- yelling out loud repeatedly that she wasn't good enough because she didn't have heart, didn't have enough technical scores, didn't connect with the audience, what have you, hoping some of them would stick and transform into truth. If that's the truth, then there's no need to try to convince us, right? What's the reason trying to tell the world again and again she isn't good enough like a broken record if the Olympic at Sochi didn't actually show that already? What exactly are you afraid of?
She did the best she could do under the hostile circumstances. I'd like see Adelina skate a flawless program when she's skating last in the Olympics with the audience who are cheering for you to fall. Right, she couldn't manage one while she's skating basking in complete adoration. Is that the problem for you? Is that why?

IOC has repeatedly mentioned "with no official complaint, no 'petition' will have any impact"
Well just an hour ago, Korean Olympic Committee has sent in the official complaint letter to the IOC mentioning the shame felt by the decision. It asks for an action to be done according to the IOC measures and to announce their official position.
Let's cross our fingers... this is our last hope
