They missed an entire element. You don't set a PCS personal best and get higher PCS than everyone else when you literally do not complete an element. That's not right.

I think I/K deserved their PCS today. They looked like they're in the different, higher league compared to other pairs. C/B on the other hand were overscored a bit, not very much though.

Yes. Exactly. And no one is talking about C/B getting 67 for their SD.

I just don't understand what people are seeing I/K's skating that I don't - they're so frenetic I was anxious for their whole performance (and it turns out rightly so, because disaster did strike). I actually gasped when I saw their score. It seems every time I think I've grown immune to the politics of skating judging something like this happens.

They should be 1st without the twizzle error, but with the twizzle error, their PCS should simply not be above 35, and they should be behind the Shibs.

Easy. Without overscoring they would be lower than 5th.

And regarding I/K's PCS, wow they really were gifted big time. They got the highest score for Skating Skills...even when they missed an entire element. Everyone else's PCS were 2-3 points off their TES, but theirs' were SEVEN (7!!) points higher!
