No hugs or anything after their final skate together. I wouldn't say I'm surprised, but they have been skating together for 10 years and won so many titles together...hmmm

Hey cool that you found some.:agree:
But somewhat it really is a shame that they part like that.
Like the last 11 years didn't mean anything and were really purely professional.
You must have some common interests in such a long time, or?

Edit
Just saw another short documentary about Savchenko/Massot.
And again they say that they'd even agree to a 2 years ban if they could get paid from the Germans.
Does that need anything if you can't really compete and just train like crazy?

And I decided now that if Aliona can go to the Olympics 2018 V/T can go too 'cause theyre younger than her

I think that sometimes it would be like Tanya had two kids 'cause Max can be really childish
Imagine the experience Tanya will already have when a baby will arrive, after raising Maxim for 4 years

Regarding Aliona, she'll be 34 at the next Olympics, a bit old for a woman skater, but I guess will see. And I see that they "released" a couple of photos doing a twist and a lift to show how great they already work together, both elements done off ice. I think they're trying to intimidate the others.

I prefer more people like Tatiana and Maxim who said they don't wanna retire and that they wanna go to the next Olympics, but for now they don't know if only in the team event or in the individual one too. At least they're more realistic.

I saw them do both of these on ice too, but nothing we haven't seen from any other skater if you ask me.
When he lifted her he acted as if she weights 3 tons or something. Doesnt seem to have much muscles that dude :disapp:
All in all that on ice thing was more like "oh look how good we are together. Nothing can stop us now." They were constantly touching eachother.
Love when V/T do that but with them it was just....weird.

And yes V/T are more realistic with these things.
Aliona has not had physical problems so far but she's sick quite often if you ask me. (Or she pretended to be)
Having a cold and such stuff. Think she's not thinking about that.

They will never be like Tanya and Max on the ice, they'll never have their chemistry as much as hey pretend, that comes from the heart.

The sick part always made me wonder, they missed 2 European championship, one Grand Prix year. Tatiana and Maxim went to all the championships even though they were having health problems. Oh well...

A pic from Ekaterinburg, always in contact:

Since we were talking about the 4 years V/T have been skating together: I must say that the longer Tanya/Maxim´s relationship has progressed, the more Maxim´s looks and personality seems to have progressed as well. Before he looked like more of a boy and seemed more shy, now he has turned into a real man (though we still notice childishness from time to time ). Of course he has gotten older as well but I think his relationship with Tanya both on and off ice has helped him grow up alot.

@annafer At the Euros this year they said she developed a pneumonia "over night". That's why they had to withdraw and couldn't skate their LP

@justastro Okay you're probably right about that. I just hope V/T will stay healthy. Hope that will be easier without so much pressure on them.

@Arawen I completely agree on what you said. Even though he's often still very hyper and has to move in some way he seems as well much calmer than some years ago.
Except for the shyness. He still has that when he talks about private things (oh wait we don't speak about them of course ;))

thank you for posting! i really don't know how to feel about those two anymore. i'm sad for them, but at the same time i'm also angry because of the whole situation. really ugly...

Ugly, but still not as bad as what's going down with I/K (and let's not even go there) And while it is understandable that their relationship has run its course, it's a pity that it's ended this way. I hope Tatiana and Max get their happy ending if and when they decide to retire in the future

Totally agree. He grew up quite a bit these 4 years and it's obvious. And that's why he always says his biggest win was the partnership with Tatiana. I like that he's still a jokester, the only childish thing left are his tantrums, but I think Tanya learned to deal with that and calm him quickly.

orangella, as we said a few pages back, I think he's shy when talking about private life because Tanya is around. In the documentary when he was filmed alone he spoke more than any other time. I for one get the feeling he would scream it from the top of the highest building, but can't because of Tatiana. Which works for me, their photos and gestures say enough.

You're right, but I feel like I\K are still so very young and their future is wide open for them. The whole situation with S/S is just depressing. Like orangella96 said, thinking that the last 11 years meant nothing and were entirely professional is heartbreaking. I feel cheated.

I find it very sweet that even though he'd just love to babble on about how happy they are that he completely respects her wish not to talk about it.
I think that they agreed on it before the documentary that he can say that but otherwise not.
But for me as well their pictures are enough.

@justastro They'll definitely get their Happy End.
If not I'll fill an official complaint
And you're right we'll not go down the I/K road.
They bash about it enough in their thread....:slink:

You mean she faked illness? Why would she do that

Well at the Euros this year she got pneumonia "over night" after they recognized V/T were ahead of them by quite a lot of points.(almost 8 if I remember correctly)
Irina Rodnina said afterwards she thinks they pretended it too because they want to go to Sochi with a victory against V/T in their minds (meaning the GPF)
I don't want ti accuse her of anything but seems a bit unrealistic and unbelievable to me

Yes, the fact that he respects her wish says more than anything. I agree about the documentary thing, no way he talked about that without discussing it with her before. I jus think they wanted to clear things, since people didn't know if she was still with Stas or not, how things happened etc. No wonder Tanya asked that journalist if he saw the documentary when asked if they're together.

A few weeks ago one asked her if they're together and her answer was something like "but there's a documentary" and after that she blabbed something. About being very good friends, her general go-to answer.

Haha okay.
Bad enough that one has to ask which of the dumb journalists got that answer.
There are just too many of them :disapp:
