Skating outdoors and clearly in freezing temperatures, Kilius and Baumler won the first of their two world pair titles here in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy at the 1963 Worlds. A wonderful look back at the crazy conditions skaters and spectators used to endure for the love of figure skating!
