Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - 1997 Skate Canada International, Ladies' Free Skate - Michelle Kwan of the USA was suffering from a foot injury which caused her to miss her final spin. Despite making 3 major errors, she still managed to win the Free Skate and ended up winning the Gold Medal here.
