Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - 1996 World Figure Skating Championships, Ice Dancing, Free Dance - Renée Roca and Gorsha Sur of the United States placed 14th in in the Free Dance to finish in 14th Place overall. Discouraged by the judging, they opted to turn professional after this competition.
