St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - 1996 Centennial on Ice, Figure Skating, Men's Short Program - Rudy Galindo of the United States attempted to compete here with an injured left ankle. He was able to fight through the program narrowly landing the double Axel, but afterward he was forced to withdraw.
