Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - 1997 World Figure Skating Championships, Ladies' Free Skate - Tara Lipinski of the United States placed 2nd in the Free Skate, but because of the size of her lead over Michelle Kwan after the Short Program, Tara was able to finish in 1st Place overall.
