Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - 1997 World Figure Skating Championships, Men's Free Skate - Todd Eldredge of the United States skated well until he popped his 2nd triple Axel attempt. That surely guaranteed him finishing 2nd behind Elvis Stojko. He would finish in 2nd Place overall.
