Really good skate for Olesja LEONOVA (EST)

Another black dress, but with silver patterns on it. And it looked really well. (Silver always does go well with black).

Enjoyed the music too.

This is a really good competition.

What?! They're still playing the Crazy Frog in the background. But this time the other song.

She goes into 10th position. And she is really celebrating!!! :cheer:

The coach is laughing her head off. So, I think Olesja might be celebrating like that as a joke.

Sophia MAAROUF (FRA) wearing yet anothe black dress.

Shania Twain!!!!!! "Man, I Feel Like A Woman"!!!!!!

:cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

I take back those celebrations. The edits were AWFUL!!! 🙉

Not the best of skates. But, not as bad as the edits.

Is that Chris Boyadji sitting with her?

She goes into 10th position.

She puts her hand over her mouth in shock. But I don't know if it is good shocked or bad shocked.

Right, time for me to go back to watch the 4 Advanced Novice boys that I missed while eating.

Hmph! We completely missed the Warm-Up because of the adverts!

Thank goodness we got back just in time for the first skater, Mia VOOMETS (EST).

Although it was not perfect, I enjoyed that programme.

Awwww. She's got a Stitch!!! (As in "Lilo And Stitch". Not as in a pain in her leg).

What on Earth is Sofija SHEVCHENKO (LAT) wearing?!

White crop top with no back (just strings), with fluorescent yellow skirt, arm bands and gloves.

Apart from being far too bright for this time of the morning, it is far too revealing for a girl of this age.

She was skating to "Hip Hip, Chin Chin". WHich is too energetic for this time of the morning.

She goes into 2nd position.

Ooooh. A skater from Uzbekistan. Benazirkhon BAKHTIYOROVA is also the skater with the longest name in this competition.

Dress is a lovely purple colour, but it has a very strange shape of a neckline. It actually makes it look as if she is topless. Which is definitely not appropriate for a skater of any age, never mind this age.

I like this music!

Big fall on her first jump. And she tripped over herself and fell in the second half of the programme.

But otherwise, not bad.

Oh no. She's just on the verge of crying.

Thank goodness her coach is comforting her.

She goes into 3rd position.

First appearance of the event of this season's warhorse, "Voilà", courtesy of Elisabeth LEETNA (EST).

Although her dress is pink, it is another of these dresses that blends too well into the ice. But, there are lots of patterned bits on it that make it stand out.

Not a bad skate. She looks happy.

As well as her coach, there is another skater sitting with her. And I definitely recognise her from yesterday So, I will have to go investigating during the next warm-up.

EDIT: Valeria PRUTTSENKO (EST), who is currently 16th in Junior Ladies, belongs to the same club as Elisabeth, Iluuisutamisklubi Staar. So, I am nearly sure it is her.

She goes into the lead.

Arina VOEVODINA (EST) wearing a lovely dress of various shades of blue.

Nice music. And good skate.

She also has a fellow skater sitting with her and her coach.

She goes into the lead.

I was half expecting another "Voilà" from Carla GARCIA (FRA). But she didn't. Instead, she took the opportunity to prove to us that, despite the Spanish surname, she is definitely French!

Very strange music. It was a bloke singing who had an unbelievably deep voice. It was definitely French Ice Dance territory!

Lovely red dress.

That has to be an older sister sitting with her. They are so alike!

She goes into 6th position.

Anastasija ADADUROVA (LAT) was skating to a song that I have never heard before, but I enjoyed it.

She was wearing a beautiful black dress with a horseshoe shaped neckline lined with sparklies. It looked really impressive.

She didn't look terribly happy afterwards.

Jekaterina Platonova sitting with her.

She goes into 6th position.

What can I say about Glafira USPENSKA (LAT)'s costume apart from "Wow!!!"?!

It makes me think of a Cylon out of "Battlestar Galalctica"

And I loved the music.

She skated well.

She goes into 3rd position.

Second of the three skaters from Uzbekistan, Latifa DAVLETYAROVA, is wearing a beautiful dress of various shades of blue.

Violin music.

That was really good. I actually wouldn't be surprised if she went into the lead.

Awww, she's got a cuddly rabbit!

A bit of musical chairs going on here. A bloke has arrived, and the younger of the females with Latifa has got up and given him her seat, and she is now standing alongside.

Not the lead, but it is 3rd position.

CaroLiza_fan

More violin music, but this time there is vocals as well.

Oh, this is going to annoy me. I recognise the voice, but can't place who it is.

Leja KAZLAUSKAITE (LTU) is wearing a black and white dress. And, from a distance, it looks like she is dressed up like a maid. But when you see it closer, you realise it is not a maid's uniform.

What a beautiful programme. Such a pity about the fall early on.

She goes into 2nd position.

CaroLiza_fan

Ah, good. Floor van der PAS (NED) is here too! Hope things go better for her than they did for sister Roos in Seniors yesterday.

Hang on, telephone ringing. Floor answers it.

My memory really is going. This is iconic music that everybody knows, and I should be able to tell you what film it is from, but my mind has gone blank.

First cartwheel of the day. 🤸‍♀️

That was really good.

Is that Alina Mayer sitting with her wrapped up like an Eskimo?

She goes into 5th position.

The third and last of the girls from Uzbekistan, Latifakhon SHOISAEVA, is a little ninja! :ninja:

Ooh, I am going to like this.

Not too sure about the rolling about on the ice at the start. As you know, I would class that as a fall.

That was absolutely brilliant!!! Without doubt my favourite programme so far. And I am not just talking about today; I am talking about the whole event!!!

:cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

I know absolutely nothing about this girl, but all of a sudden I want to adopt her.

She goes into 5th position.

CaroLiza_fan

And after the joys of the ninja programme, we now have an awful cover of Britney Speirs' "Toxic" 🙉

Sofija BASINA (LAT) is wearing a lovely green dress with black pattern, though. And she has her hair done up into two horns, which looks cool.

Pity about the early fall.

She looks very upset.

She goes into 6th position.

Hang on, I just looked at the livescoring page, and there are no deductions. Did I imagine the fall?! No, I just wound the stream back to check, and she did definitely fall on her first jump.

Mmmm...

CaroLiza_fan

I was expecting a resurfacing now, but we have actually moved straight onto the next group.

CaroLiza_fan

Urtė GAILIŪTĖ (LTU) wearing a black dress with red trim. She is skating to a song that I know, but can't place what it is.

Right, she fell on her first jump. Let's see if a deduction comes up.

No, it doesn't. Right, there is something badly wrong here. According to the livescoring page, the leader is the only skater that has had a fall. But that is not the case.

Urtė goes into 5th position.
