Music issues for Thea Marie Kochergina ULLERENG (NOR). She had to go to the panel.

Mainly white dress, but the end of the skirt part is sky blue. It creates a nice effect when she is jumping.

I was just about to comment about how impressive a jump she was doing looked, when she landed it hard on her backside.

Everything else looked good to me.

I hear her sniffling during the replays. Hope it's just a runny nose, and that she's not going to cry.

She shouldn't. She's 2nd in the FS and the new leader overall!

Harley Quin, sorry, I mean Skater #17 now.

No need to describe what she is wearing. But, it is not the usual music.

Don't know the first song. But it was followed by "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes. Then "You Don't Own Me" (not sure whose version)

She was really enjoying herself out there!

Seeing her in the results area, I'm questioning if she is old enough to be wearing that sort of costume. Because she looks very young when you see her up close.

She also looks a lot like Anna Pogorilaya, but that is a different matter.

Evelina BARSAMOVA (LAT) was skating to a spooky programme.

Needless to say, she was wearing a black dress, but with a white and blue pattern.

I enjoyed that. But I always enjoy spooky programmes.

That was funny. Just before the scores were announced, she folded her arms. And her coach then did the same, imitating her. And she laughed.

She geos into the lead of both FS and overall.

Ksenia NAUMOVA (EST) was wearing a grey dress, where the trim was slightly darker.

Epic music.

Not bad.

She has to lean into the camera to make out the scores on the screen.

She goes into 6th in the FS, and 4th overall.

Lina MATEIKO (LAT) is wearing a blue mini skirt, and a bra top that is half pink and half orange. Both PVC.

Skating to "Aint No Mountain High Enough" by Diana Ross.

I absolutely loved everything about that programme!!!

But she was shaking her head when she finished.

"Waiting For Tonight" by Jennifer Lopez playing while she was waiting for her scores. Appropriate!

She goes into 4th in the FS, and 2nd overall.

She nods her head slightly in reaction.

Vilena IVANNIKOVA (EST) is wearing a purple dress.

Opera music. And it wasn't until about halfway through when it went techno that I realised that it was this piece where the singer starts wailing.

Suffice to say, the music was not my cup of tea.

That said, apart from a fall, she skated well.

She goes into a big lead in both FS and overall.

Varvara PODER (EST) wearing a white dress.

As soon as I heard the first note, a massive smile came over my face.

I have wanted a "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" programme for years!!!

Not sure about the edit, though. But, at least there was only one.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

I don't know why, but during it, I started thinking of one of my now retired (presumably) kids, Elisabetta Leccardi.

I wonder. Is she related to the younger coach. Because I can see a similarity between them.

She goes into 3rd position.

When Ella Celine RISA-GOMEZ (NOR) came out, I said "Olè"!

I couldn't have been further from the truth!

Although she was wearing a black dress with red trim, this real industrial music started.

It got a bit gentler in the middle. But then came back with a vengeance!

Ah, she did a finishing pose the same as my kid Elisabet Gervits does at the start of her SP.

Although the music wouldn't have been my favourite, she was good!

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Just a word to the wise - the livescoring page hasn't been working for the past two skaters.

Martina LUCCHI (ITA) wearing a very pale green dress.

She was skating to what sounded to me like fairytale ballet music.

It was good.

She and her coach are chatting away. She seems like a nice girl.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

She's not sure what to make of it.

Mia KASPAROVICA (LAT) was wearing a dress where the top half was mainly gold, and the bottom half was mainly black.

Very dramatic music in the first half (I was picturing lots of bare-chested blokes fighting karate style), and clamer music in the second half.

Had a fall in the first half, but otherwise good.

She is breathing very heavily, and I think she is upset.

Oh no. She's started crying.



Yes, that's it coach. Put your arm around her and comfort her.

She goes into 6th in the FS and 5th overall.

Margarita KURSITE (NOR) wearing a dress that is mainly black, but with turquoise areas on it.

Loved the music.

Indeed, I loved the whole programme.

Awww. She blew a kiss to us when they went full-screen after the replays ended.

She goes into 5th in the FS, and 3rd overall.

Hang on. Is Pihla PITKANEN (FIN) wearing the same pink dress as Natalie TIEVA (FIN) did for the SP?

No. It's not.

Medley of Queen covers.

Instrumental orchestral version of "Don't Stop Me Now". Then a female cover of "Love Of My Life". And a female cover of "Another One Bites The Dust". None of them were great, but the last was by far the worst.

The skating seemed good to me. But, the way she was when she was coming off the ice, I think she does not agree.

Well, I don't know if she was kicking her heels in frustration, or trying to clean the ice manually without a Zamboni.

She goes into 17th in the FS, and 10th overall.

She screws her face up at the scores!

She did it today again! Oliviia made me jump when she kicked her leg up coming near the camera!

Just about made her out doing a jump at the far end of the rink. With her white team jacket, she was blending into the boards!

She went past the camera doing a step sequence.

Shortly afterwards she did a jump right at the edge of shot.

And then not long later did one at the very far corner, where she was so small and there were so many skaters about that we could barely see her.

As seems to be normal, she was the last to come off the ice.

Pinja PELTOLA (FIN) wearing a beautiful blue dress, with gold pinstripes. (I think it is supposed to look like a corset).

And beautiful music too!

Fall on first jump. And very nearly another on what I think was supposed to be a combination later on. (How she stayed on her feet I will never know!)

Sitting on her own, because her team-mate is next (didn't notice we had 3 Finns in a row after the SP). It's a pity Pihla didn't stick around to keep her company.

Don't know the song she starte with. But it didn't last long, being replaced with a more familiar instrumental.

When it started, I thought it was the Zagitova edit. But, it soon derivated from it.

She is wearing a dress where the top half is red, and the botton half is black.

Just about landed her second jump.

Big fall near the end.

Well, I think that has just ended her hopes of getting onto the podium.

She's upset. Her coach puts her arm around her.

Sofia is wearing a bluey grey dress.

You can see that the quality has suddenly ramped up.

Ach, she fell halfway through.

And fell again a couple of elements later.

Karina might get on the podium after all.

Awwww. Jekaterina gave her a kiss, and started comforting her. She's definitely in Mummy mode, rather than coach mode.
