The final day of the NRW Trophy has just started. We finish off the last of the Junior categories, the Ice Dance, and then finish off all the Senior categories.

Holly Moore has not found a new ice dance partner yet. She is doing Novice Singles but it is thinking about doing Solo Dance. I met her at the Ruhr Cup in Essen last month.

After seeing Jan and his new partner, I did a bit of digging to find out what Holly had been up to since they split, and saw her results from the past two editions of the Ruhr Cup (I can't remember what it was, but I also saw her in the entries for another event last February, but she was a withdrawal). Mmmm. Solo Dance. That could be an interesting direction for Holly to go in. With her experience in Ice Dance and Singles, she could do well.

You know, I do like how Solo Dance is becoming more popular, and more people are becoming aware of it. But, I still prefer the old rules that were in place before the ISU decided to actively promote it.

Anyway, I wish Holly all the best.
