2025 CS PGE Warsaw Cup Women's Free Skate

Well, I actually got three programmes watched, although I only just got Minja PELTONEN (FIN)'s programme finished. I haven't seen her get her scores yet.

And Minja is coming up in this group! So, it's just as well I got her fitted in.

But, I'm angry. I looked at the clock, and realised that I had been thinking in Helsinki time while looking at the Time Schedule. So, rather than missing Group 5 due to eating like I thought, I will actually be missing Group 4.

Group 4 is the group I specifically wanted to see, because it includes both of my kids, and the battle of the Lithuanian skaters.

Nela ŠNEBERGEROVÁ (CZE) was wearing a grey dress with white petticoat.

As Diana said afterwards, it was a curious combination of music. An instrumental piece by Secret Garden, followed by a couple of pieces from "Schindler's List".

It was beautiful!

She goes into 4th position in the FS, and 3rd position overall.

It's maybe a good thing I'll not be watching LIVE, because I have a feeling that I am going to get emotional when I watch it.

I really love Diana's commentary. Warsaw cup is one of my favorite competitions.

Oh, boys. Minja PELTONEN (FIN) was wearing a gorgeous dark blue dress, and skating to "Summertime".

With it being such a slow song, I can't imagine it is easy to skate to. But Minja was sublime at it. So sultry.

As Diana just said, this is such a strong skater.

Minja has just taken this competition to another level.

She goes into 7th position in the FS, and 5th position overall.

No. I do not agree with that.

She is not impressed. And neither am I.

Anna. Gorgeous dress and a wonderful program. Lovely skate.

Anna Elizabeth GREKUL (DEU) was wearing a dress that was mainly black, but had a grey sash pattern and trim. I didn't like it.

As for the music, I kept changing my mind as to whether I liked it or not. It was a medley, and there were bits I liked, and other bits I didn't.

But, on the whole, she skated it well.

She looks disappointed waiting for her scores. Niko gives her a pat on the back, and she barely notices.

She did notice when he gave her a hankie!

I'll pause the stream, and play catch-up after my Sunday Dinner. Because, as I said, I really want to see Group 4.

Dianas comments are so interesting, I learn a lot about the skaters, including that I learned yesterday that Mia has attempted 3A and been dealing with some ankle injury due to overtraining (but she is healthy and fit now).

Another thing I have loved about this competition is that the audience are so generous with plushies, even with lower ranked skater. That must be so nice for them
