My second report (16th)
I got up early in the morning and I watched men’s FS practice.
Shoma didn’t try 4F and he struggled to 4S.
His 3A, 3A1Eu3F, 4T and 4T2T were really good.
I couldn’t believe FP without 4F, because he jumped 4F at SP practice and SP.
Actually I wasn’t sure his condition was good or not good.

It is always thrilling to see him skate in competition.
I was sad to see his 4S fall and surprised to see no jump (4T).
What happened?
I was pretty satisfied to see his beautiful skating, spins and his gorgeous LAST jump
3A1Eu3F.
So I couldn’t understand what he did after short cantilever.
He jumped 4T and fell!!!
What a brave man.
Shoma was Shoma.
I was proud of him so much.
Glad to see his smile after his performance and happy K&C with Stéphane.
I only wished his podium so I was a little bit sad, but it didn’t matter.

I always like his comments so much but 「スルーしやがって」was one of the best.
It was really funny.:laugh:

That cracked me up too, I so wish there was a way to transcend the nuance of that expression in English, without adding too much explanation which would definitely water down the whole spirit of it.
And any translation that would remotely come close to it would be definitely censored here :palmf:

Sho's plans for the near future regarding Nationals.

Asahi Shimbunー “Next grand prix competition is the NHK Trophy. Since Koshiro will be participating in the competition, Stefan will be in Japan. As soon as the NHK Trophy is over, I’ll go back to Switzerland and practice again. Then, I will come back to Japan before the Japanese National Championships. Of course, Koshiro will participate in the Nationals, so Stefan should come. I'm going to talk to him about whether he'll be standing on my rink side at the Nationals. "
