Josee Chouinard also did a good exhibition to the same song. I can't find in on YouTube after a (quick) search though.

Am I remembering right that Josee used this as her "short program" at the Canadian Open (Humoresque was the LP) where she beat Michelle Kwan for the title? Frank Carroll was so mad he vowed that Michelle would never skate in Canada again. :laugh:

I think my favorite exhibition piece was Hanyu's at Worlds. I've never been too much of a fan of his because I think he skates kind of robotic without much feeling or connection to the audience. His exhibition was the total opposite. He skated with a lot of emotion and not just doing choreography between jumps, etc.

The exhibition programs by competing athletes from seasons past that struck a special chord with me are Davis and White's Rachmaninov program during their last season, Weir's "Yunona and Avos" and "My Way" programs, Kulik's Listz program during his last season, Dmitriev and Kazakova's "Waltz Triste" program. This season I especially loved Hanyu's, Asada's and Sui/Han's exhibition programs.

My all-time most favorite programs by the professionals are Kurt Browning's "Serenade to Sonya" and Bechke and Petrov's "Snowstorm."

Honorary mention: I loved Adian Pitkeev's number this season, funny and nice acting.
Above all, I loved all Toller Cranston's gala performances. In them days, without a quad challenge, he used to do as an encore his broken leg spins and ten Russian splits in a row. Fascinating!
