South Korean Ranking Competition, 01–03 December 2017

Hi everyone. I'm finally at the rink with the start of junior ladies!

Now Junior ladies short program is going on.
After first two groups,
#8 Seo young Wi did a good job with 3F-3T, 3Lz, 2A and get a score of 52.90 and is leading now. She has a future.
#7 Yuna Song is now 2nd with 43.32

What a impressive skates from #19 Min kyul Kim from group4!!!
This is first time I saw her but I swear I will go home and rewatch hers. Definitely beautiful performance and cleanish jumps.. even though there's only 2Lz, 3S-2T, 2A
42.79 and currently 3rd.

It's so freezing here
Now I'm losing the sense of my foot and toes.
If anybody plans to come to see the comp, should wear 3 pair of socks cuz I already wear 2 pair of socks (put another socks right on to the socks!) and I realized it's not enough at all.

Today's junior ladies are two groups left, and I have two more days to freeze.

Sooo bad that #52 Si won Lee made so many mistakes on her jumps. So pity that she nailed such nice 3Lz and 3F-2T in 6mins warm up.:sad21:
Otherwise, outstanding skating skills, nice spins, very elegant and beautiful swan it was.

Does anyone know how KSU is choosing the representatives for junior worlds? Are they doing the same thing as seniors where they average all 3 scores from the ranking competitions and nationals or are they also taking JGP results into account too? Also MAX EMO at seeing no Yunkyung in the entries list.

Representatives for JWC will be only decided by Nationals results, as usual, so Yunkyung still has a chance. But she sure needs fast recovery to participate the Nationals and beat the others ;(

No, there won't:sad21:
Sadly main broadcasting station of domestic figure skating, KBS, is now on long term strike since September. They said they have no one to go to the rink and live broadcast the event, for now.

Will that affect Olympic broadcasts?

If you talking about oly broadcasts in Korea, then I don't know, but I don't think so.
I think there are some other broadcast station which bought the right to broadcast olympics, so others will do figure skating broadcast then..?
