Marin Honda, Mariah Bell

I love these girls and both have the it factor.Both are with Artunian right? I feel both these girls are jewels and I would like to hear what the fans feel Rafael could do to make these girls more competitive. Mariah was great in her second GP and so fast. That was a great skate. Was she scored as highly as she should have been? Marin is so lovely to watch. I know little about the technical side of skating but it seems the judges always have favorites and these two can really perform. I wish Mariah was a judge favorite in USFS. Clearly she has not been consistent and I guess that is the criticism of Marin this year. Definitely hope Mariah is able to compete with Bradie at Nationals. Same for Marin at Japanese Nationals. She is up against by my count 4 incredible talents. I just love her though. Such charm.

Marin is currently my favourite lady skater (still hoping for Kaetlyn's return though!) yes she has some issues with her jumps but her SS are to die for and, God, how she can use every inch of her body to interpret music - simply wow she is only 17(!), not to mention that she wins the beauty contest in FS no question (seriously I am worried about the male population of California!) I very much hope that Raf will work his magic and the next season we'll see a different Marin technically. It makes me angry how little the judges think of her SS but I understand that deep edges is only one criteria and Marin needs to improve her speed and ice coverage to get more love from the judges. Also loving every minute of their interactions with Raf in the K&C. Raf clearly has a soft spot for her, who can blame him?!

Mariah is lovely but lacking that 'something' for me strictly IMHO of course

I will add Eunsoo LIM too in that duet for a wonderful trio under Arutyunyan's coaching. All three of them are highly enjoyable and beautiful to watch.

Eunsoo LIM is just as beautiful as Marin HONDA. Each has some jump issues, but Eunsoo has done better on the scoring side, one bronze medal and a 6th place (16 points) to no medal, an 8th and a 6th place (8 points) for Marin.

Mariah BELL may not be as drop-dead beautiful, but she is darned cute, and oozes personality. While she didn't win a medal, she had a 4th and a 5th place and 16 points---not bad at all.
