It's nearly 3 AM in Boston and there's more morning practice (pairs first) so I'm too tired to summarize and post, but you can find some videos on my Dailymotion channel and some photos on my tumblr. There's more footage and thoughts, but highlights of the day were Yuzu's clean FS runthrough (that 4s-3T!) and watching him do the ina bauer counter 3A right in front of me. I was a little sleep deprived, but I'm pretty sure I saw him smile a bit when he heard us cheering for him at the boards (I think I have a video).

I'm still awake... I had to catch up on the news! I think I'll sleep through the pairs and dance practice tomorrow (or i could stay up another 3 hours and just head over there). I'm actually quite sleepy, I've been awake since 6:30 AM too. OK, lights out for me.

I found this article on Internet http://www.hieloespanol.es/1/javier...amas_se_que_puedo_vencer_a_hanyu_2315433.html . It's from HieloEspanol, run by a spanish guy who I think knows well Javi.Well, the article talks briefly about Yuzuru, and it says that Yuzu was injured (due to a inflammation in the tendon of his left leg) and he couldn't do quadtoes during two months

His quad toe in practice was on, so I think all is ok now and he is overall in very good shape

I don't believe anything that doesn't come from official sources, JSF didn't say anything, Brian didn't say anything, he himself didn't say anything
He had a problem on his left foot but I don't think it was that serious and even Phil said he came with a pain in his foot that has healed ever since he was back to Toronto..

I guess most important for Hanyu is to train hard for 3 weeks very hard before competition and then he is in great shape. It would be problematic if he couldn't train hard just before the Worlds

As far as I know, If this guy "knows that", it's because Javi or someone on the spanish team told him something.Normally it's a reliable source :slink:

Well, he's fine now. But... if he had to stop practicing quads for 2 months then there is no wonder he decided not to include quad Lo into his LP. He just did not have enough time to perfection it to the point it would be safe to include it in a competitive routine. And yet- he came with 4S3(2)T in the second half of his LP- that is something.
Thanks for the article! And don't worry too much- he's happy and healthy now.
