Elena Radionova

Seems she is at the Cote dAzur for some reasons.

Yup!

She's there with Lera, according to Lera's ask.fm:

It seems like Lera was a bridesmaid in a wedding there (see far left), so maybe Lena just tagged along for the trip?

Lucky girl!! Though I kinda wish she were TRAINING, not traveling!! ;)

I can´t believe it, she lasted so tiny so much time and suddenly she is so tall. I am jealous

Yeah, I'm jealous too!! I know Lena wanted to be 170cm, but the taller she gets, the harder it is to jump... :drama:

you're right, they re in Monaco....
I hope she trains after her breathing break... she doens't look out of shape to me.

I actually think she is back in Russia now. She was in Monaco for wedding that happen over the weekend and pics from that are still being posted, but Lena posted a selfie the other day that had her in Moscow. My guess is she went to the wedding while Inna was at a small competition with Kovtun and Vonorov.

Russian figure skater Elena Radionova has completely recovered from her illness and coutinues to prepare for the season with a positiove outlook.

Radionova, the world bronze medalist and two-time European vice-champion, was forced to withdraw from her FS at the open skate in Sochi.

"We're getting ready, Lena is working, she has fully recovered an trains with a positive outlook. I am happy because she is truly in a good mood, she works with pleause and lots of positivity. Some things work out, some don't, but the process is going well and that I can say for sure." - Radionova's Coach Inna Goncharenko tells "R-Sport" via telephone.

Radionova does not compete until the start of the GPS, she is listed for Moscow (nov. 4-6) and Beijing (nov. 18-20).

"Every skater forms their own habits. Some like to compete before the main events, some don't. This is not the first season when we go to the GP straight after the test skates [As a matter of fact, Lenok has only done one B comp. in her career - 2013 Nebelhorn]. We have our own system. Perhaps it will change in the future but for now it is such. We organize our own internal skates and work with a schedule we're used to." - explains Goncharenko.

...
So it will be a month until we see her FS. If I have any luck, I will try to get some kind of insider info but I can't guarantee anything.

Lenok fighting! :clapper:

Thank you! Who else has Vasileva worked with? The comments seemed to indicate she works more with ice dance? But I agree with her, Lena is often forgotten or underestimated- remember last season when everyone was predicting puberty problems before and after CoC and yet she still ended up in top 3 of Russian ladies? Now they are saying on some threads she had an "average season" just because she didn't medal at Worlds. I suspect this season may be more difficult as she has grown even more, and I will admit the test skates made me quite worried, as does the lack of info about her FS. But of course I am still rooting for her, and I would love to see her fight through this and become an even more beautiful and mature skater. Let's go Lena!

As Piona posted,
She makes it thrilling ...

I cannot remember it clearly, but last season, there was a discussion that Lena was never in the limelight. As Vasileva (why is it Vlasova in google translate?) said, "it's more good than bad" ~ And I am glad how Lena fought for what she had achieved :)
