Yeah, seriously. Nice to see their traditionally strong disciplines do well.
It's been a very good JGPF for Russia.

Men's free:
Aww, two deductions and almost 20 points underneath his PB.

Awww, poor Gachinski. He's so young!
He's had a good JGP debut in any case.

Adam Rippon

Adam has never been so consistent nor skated so well in the last three years I have been following him. Nikolai Morosov must be one of the reasons.

I spotted Adam 2 years ago as special, so this is kind of expected from me. With a score of over 200 I supposed that puts him in the big league for US Nats and the odds on favorite for gold in Juniors. Can't help but think he will usher in a new wave of US Senior Men and oust of few rivalries there.

Whatever happened to the threat of Gatchinski? Razzano got his revenge.

Chrissy must have choked at this big international contest, but I'm still looking for a better showing at US Nats.

Mussademba less potent than I thought.

Huray for Flatt in toppling Nagasu in the LP. This should give her an impetus for US Nats, in Seniors. Watch out Caroline.

And a big Huray for Mirai for winning the gold which was expected.

The Russian juniors on a roll in Dance. It's a must see. Hope we get some youtubes.

Did I skip by the Pairs? I don't remember any results.

Joe

Congratz to all of the medalists. It's interesting to see two different countries sweep the podium here. Too bad for Crone/Poirier. I was hoping they'd score higher, but oh well. Not a bad debut for them. They're still young. As for Velenosi/Fernandez, this was just not their day. I hope they do much better at nationals.

Gachinksi is onlt 14 and at least 3 years younger than most of these guys. He also did one too many combinations. He's young, so I'd give him time. He's accomplished a lot for such a young age.

in pairs -. you must have missed the posts, but Bazaroiva/Larionov led a Russian sweep of the podium. Krasilnikova & Bezmaternikh and SHeremetieva & Kuznetsov were the other medalists.

Looks like Rachel Flatt is the MOST reliable jumper among all American ladies.

Except some downgrades, I believe she has landed every jump for all the competitions she has participated in.
