Still I am glad Samantha skated here, it was one of the few enjoyable performances so far.

I wasn't sure if sending her was going to be a good decision, yes she did well in the short but if the Russians skate clean tomorrow she wont be able to hold her place.

I still think they should have sent Angela instead of Siraj

Maybe just compared to Miyahara...the Chinese girl Zhao is apparently 5'2" and looked like an amazon after Miyahara, given that, I doubt Julia is taller than 5 ft tall.

Seems like i read somewhere that her coach said Julia was struggling a bit with all the changes. I imagine he means her body is changing and she's growing.
