She had a 54 for PCS at FCC so a 4 point increase is very good.

Ack! I'm so nervous for Osmond! I admit, I really like her! I have zero expectations concerning the podium but I would love her to skate well and to be happy with what she does.

Looking forward to a well-skated final flight. overall, the competition has been fairly well performed. Not perfect, but not a splat-fest either.

I think China will still keep 2 spots. IIRC, skaters finishing 17-24 count for 16 points. As long as Li finishes no lower than 12th (and we know she will finish higher) the combined total is still not more than 28 - thus 2 spots next year.

I think the judges want to see the U.S regain 3 spots and that is why she was placed below Gold. Her PCS being behind is kind of a joke though.

Yep. Because an entire panel of judges and technical specialists worked in collusion to manipulate the levels and GOE just enough that she would fall short by .6, therefore satisfying the deepest hopes of USFSA.
