There are some musical pieces that are used over and over and over and over and... They are known as Warhorses. Carmen is probably THE quintessential Warhorse piece. Sing Sing Sing is another Warhorse.

I jokingly said that there are some pieces which aren't quite Warhorses yet, but are on their way to becoming Warhorses. Pina looks like it is heading into Warpony status. Requiem for a Dream.

Clint Mansell's "Lux Aeterna" (to give the piece it's proper name. "Requiem for a Dream" is the film it is from) is my favourite music for skating!!!

It was used to death a couple of years ago. But, it is not used as often now. Apart from small bits in medleys, I haven't heard it used in ages!

And that is a real shame.

PLEASE, SOMEBODY, USE "LUX AETERNA" NEXT SEASON!!!!

A random remark, but I really think these skating orders are rigged. How on earth is it that Yuna is skating last again? And Mao the last skater in group 2? Someone ought to do an analysis and see if there is any artificiality.
