Missed the first few skaters but it seemed to be bit of a rough flight. Some seemed to do a bit decent technically but were cold artistically and others seemed to be enjoying themselves but were splatting around. I do feel mean being harsh to the lower ranked skaters though. I think many are just thrilled to be there. The CBC commentators pointed out that many are still very inexperienced on the international stage and to come to the Olympics the grandest stage of all must be very tough. I really enjoy seeing the lower ranked skaters getting the exposure.

Anne Line wont be last she will be 23 at worst, her jumps do need work alot of work i must say that, they all look eeked out, UR and very small she prob gets - GOE on all of them not good quality jumps and her presentation need a lot of work

I know. There are so many skaters to cheer for in this group. But they can't all move up. So frustrating!

And CBC's online stream put up an advertisement in the middle of a previous skater's routine. She was a lower-ranked skater but still not fun. I really hope they don't do that again!:sarcasm:
