Hopefully Gubanova won't receive any JGP spots this year. She's just not ready and there are way more skaters who deserve the spots.

what happened to Gubanova, she doesnt look happy on every skate
its like she doesnt liek skating anymore

hope she sorts her jump issues
she needs a technical coach - not her original coach ( Gosviani's coach - same wild jumps, hammer toe kick, and forced take off )

Didn't mean to come off harsh regarding the JGP. I certainly hope she does enjoy skating and will perhaps be a strong contender in 2017/2018. I just don't see it now.

Didn't mean to come off harsh regarding the JGP. I certainly hope she does enjoy skating and will perhaps be a strong contender in 2017/2018. I just don't see it now.

I think she'll be dealing with early puberty and technique adjustments for 2016, so if she wont be back to her old shape
she will not get any JGP slots, hopefully in 2017 she can, still its crowded with Tsurskaya, Fedichkina, Samodurova, Tarusina, Konstantinova, Lozko all potentially securing JGP slots.

I think she is too hard on herself
shes still a child, she must not think too much of this mistakes, her mood definitely affects her skating

is it true she is coached by Gosviani's original coach ?
Mishin might fix her technique issue.

Please stop repeating this because it's false. Gubanova's coach did not teach Gosviani her 3lz. Gosviani already had a 3lz before she moved to Urmanov's group.

Her first coach was a man, then she spent some years with Natalia Golubeva. At 13 she moved to Urmanov's group where Turenko (Gubanova's coach) used to work until Urmanov moved to Sochi.

Oh okiez i thought it was just a 3toe with a shaky landing didn't see it clearly the arena looks dark and the livestream kept on buffering but anyways im still happy with her placement..

Eh, stop pronouncing the fate of 13 year old skaters or even who will get JGP spots next year... it's extremely dumb. If you went by the end of the year competitions from last year, there would be a couple skaters who would have gotten grand prix assignments and some you wouldn't have thought that got some. Gubanova can do 3F-3T in the SP next year.
