Top 6 are qualified to Nationals Elder Age.

Of Top 7 six girls (all except 4th Anastasia Gulyakova) skated without visible errors.
Panenkova with two arms up on most of triples (including both jumps of 3Lz+3T combo) - it was shocking! But Vasilieva and Tarusina, as for me, show more clean and solid skating.
Mukhortova's skating is very-very nice, excellent flexibility and spins as Lipnitskaia, but low and not so good jumps.
Scherbakova - nice skating, but mistakes at jumps.

Skating of all mentioned and some not-mentioned girls is very good.
It was a real pleasure to watch this competition.

Thank you for all the info and videos!
Did Trusova not compete?

Did Vasilieva compete at Russian Junior Nationals this year? If not, why? Who is coaching her?

Not, because Vasilieva did not qualify (9 and 6 places at Russian Cup Events, Junior).
Her coach - Viktoria Butsaeva (Volchkova), medalist of Euro at 1999-2002.

never heard of her, must have been a great skate
so many of these girls sprouting out of nowhere to be future stars
Vasilieva and Panenkova, yes, are of nowhere.
Others at this competitions who skated good are well-known.

But... for example, Elena Radionova at spring 2009 was "of nowhere". No good results of serious competitions before that time. At Moscow qualifiers to Zhuk Memorial she was only third (1st was Anastasia Galustyan, who now skates for Armenia). But after that - 1st at Zhuk Memorial and many wins and high places. After Senior Nationals at December 2011 (where she being 12 years old was 5th) the only her competition without medal - GP Final 2013 (4th). All others (tens of competitions including Euro and Worlds) - medals.

Trusova changed coaches? She skates up to Tsareva in both videos. I thought she was with Volkov.

Georgi :sad21: I guess he needs a better jump coach asap...he's so talented and special.

How in the world did Alexei Erokhov get 6 points deducted in his FS?

Alexey had a problem with his skates' hook. It took a while to fix it. Plus one fall .
