2015 Nebelhorn Trophy General Chat

Can't wait to see who will be top Canadian in 10 minutes time.

After the performance Alaine put in earlier, Kaetlyn will have to be on top form. Having been out of action for so long, it will be interesting to see if she can manage it.

Honestly, I would be delighted to see either of them in the top spot come the end of the day.

Can't really see anybody else from this group taking the lead. Although, Weinzierl could be the dark horse that surprises.

All the best Kaetlyn.

Osmond looks so beautiful! She's definitely matured. Shame about the jump combo pop and fall. Her dress and hair piece kind of reminds of Wagner at 2010 Nationals.

Katelyn looks beautiful, but that is literally the WORST rendition of la vie en rose I have EVER heard, that singer should be shot.

Too bad about the jump combo, the program was quite beautiful otherwise.

What a shame about the combination! Otherwise, it was a gorgeous program - great skating skills, lovely packaging, good spins, and nice pop to her other jumps.

Well, she's young and she's hopefully learning... I don't even want to think about my first times experimenting with makeup... literally don't even want to think about them:hopelessness:... but she should have someone on her team to tell her better.

Oh Lord, it can't be as bad as mine. I thought eyeshadow went under the eye. I mean, it's eye shadow. Walking around school with forest green streaks under my eyes looking like I had jaundice :hopelessness:. It was so bad my dad packed me into the car one day and took me to the makeup counter at Nordstroms for lessons.

Katelyn looks lovely as always, too bad about the jumps. I think this program will be a favorite of mine.

Ugh the combo looked so good in the warm up. I wanted her to take the lead so badly! The rest of the program was lovely.

Pity for the combo, but what a DELIGHTFUL program by Kaetlyn, I really hope she receives the best PCS

"So no one told you life was gonna be this way? *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*"

I feel like the person choosing music is trolling the arena. And it isn't even The Rembrandts' version.

Right, let's just forget about the fall for a moment.

Beautiful. Simply Beautiful.

The music, the dress, the skating. Everything was beautiful.

If it wasn't for the fall, I would have put her in the lead. But, with it, and with the top 4 being so close, she might slip as far down as 5th.

But, she'll still be in contention for the win tomorrow.

EDIT: Kaetlyn DID go into the lead! Now, that was a surprise!

AH THE LEAD I wasn't expecting that, but sooo happy for her. It was stunning apart from the combo. Excited for protocols!

I am surprised she is in the lead to be honest, I am not sure she deserves to be above Chartrand. However, I am happy for her and excited to see her long tomorrow.

Kaetlyn!!!

What a lovely program, and she skated it so beautifully. Everything except the opening combo was just exquisite! So, so happy to have her back!!

And that dress, make-up, everything... she's just stunning :drama:
