2016-17 Russian Qualifiers and other events

Im counting 7-10 points inflation for this domestic event

so they got around 61-3 range if this was a GP Short dance
and 93-95 range for the FD

I think, instead of counting inflation just as it is, it would be better to put those techs plus the PCS S/K got last season at their best, to be more precise. B/S didn't get that much difference from their regional competition compared to Nepela, fo example, and unless things change quite drastically towards the GP, which I higly doubt, the scores for S/K would be more around 69 for the short (TES 34, PCS 35) and around 103 for the free (TES 50, PCS 53) - we need to have in mind that overall the scores will be higher this season because of the increase in the BV, so a 66 last year is the new 69, and so on.

For the GP, I could see those scores coming down a bit, perhaps two points in the short and up to four in the free, but not too much, no. But these are just scores. I want to see why their tech on the free was low compared to the PCS, and they are still a ways from their GP, so they have time to straighten things out.

Don't expect those low scores, though. If last year without the increase in the BV they managed to score 62 right on their first GP, they could well to a lot better now.

You are wrong. It isn't much inflated event. I think inflated only component score, by 1 point in the SD and 2 in the FD. TES can be better in the Grand Prix events. They have a month to prepare.

I'd say that's about right. The Russian ID pairs are almost all at the same level. Russian nationals is going to be a nail biter for sure :)

I'm disappointed, I had higher expectations after yesterday's wonderful SD.
I can see now why they didn't go to Finland. :(

I think one can`t expect a miracle in 3 weeks. The SD Looks great and now they can work on the FD! They`ve lost so much time because of Nikita`s injury and the programs were set only in August. We need patience...

But they haven't lost so much time to his injury, he was back on the ice in June!

Me no likes...They are just not good enough to pull off this kind of program yet. This is already a watered down version of the test skate program. And what's up that twizzle at the end. It makes no sense and is truly ugly.
