2016-17 Russian Qualifiers and other events

People are saying that Osipova would be very interested in teaming up with Mirzoev. The rumors didn't say what Mirzoev thinks about the matter though. Mirzoev would be a great partner for her for the next season obviously but Mirzoev only has one junior season left and I can't see Nika becoming ready for seniors after next season. I doubt they will team up but if they do then it will most likely be more about there been no better options available than anything else.

Very loyal judging at this competition. Alisa with clear UR on 3T got 65.95, Nastya with step out got 69.87. About Alina's scores, well...

I totally disagree with PCS scores. Angel should get at least same but for me higher PCS than Alina. Same with Dunya and Alisa. Alisa must has higher PCS than Dunya.

First three girls are among the stars. What about Alisa - I hope she will fix her URs. In the last season I was in love in her programs. That was superb cute. Now Alina can take a rest and prepare for the next senior season. Nastya has a time to fix her 3Lz. And Dunya has time to add speed. Next season should be amazing.

1. Alina ZAGITOVA - skated worse than at most important competitions (JGPF, Nats, JrNats, JrWorlds), it is really not easy, two competitions back-to-back.
2. Anastasia GUBANOVA -(corrected) one of the best performances of season.
3. Darya PANENKOVA - ordinary skating. She is very stable in season, performances are equal at all the competitions.

Gubanova didn't skate clean both programs here. She made step-out in SP. Same was at JGP in Germany, step-out in SP and clean LP. The best skating from Nastya was in Volvo Open Cup, where she skated clean both programs.
