2016 Skate Canada Men's LP

Can anyone figure out what Yuzu and Brian are talking about? I heard Yuzu say something and Brian said "you might want to tell me next time."

Yuzu said: I was sad because people can't see my legs yesterday.
Brian said: You might want to tell me next time.

Yeah, Daniel! You go boy!

Omg, I love his over-the-topness.

It's my fervent hope that Sahohin continues on his weird and off beat path and gets even more off beat and weirder in the future. He can pull it off and he's eminently entertaining.

Seconded!

Even on an off night he scores close to 100 technically.

(damn where is that shield when I need it to dodge the stones coming my way)

I kinda found the program itself to be a bit of a snoozefest.

I adore Yuzu but have got to agree. Kind of a let down after SEIMEI last year.

Daniel Samoin

Daniel's bringing the craziness with his blinged out Carnivale jumpsuit. Opens with mood setting choreo and mood killing Pogo-fall. Average spins. His strength is his personality and ability to get into character. Saves the other jumps. Has to take a moment to catch his breath after the skate- I was worried he was hurt.

Keeps his character for his bows. Always the entertainer :party2:

Samohin is a very exciting, theatrical skater. But the setup or after effect of quad took too much of the program and his energy. The season just started. He will have to find the balance as the season progresses. Regardless, It was very brace of him that he kept going after the monstrous fall of his first jump.

True. He had to take 2 months off this summer for an injury/operation so he's still getting his stamina back. Plus he has asthma.

The injury has affected him yes, but I think he's delivered enough perfect, high-difficulty programs that we can stop blaming the asthma - after all he landed both triple axels and the final lutz so clearly fatigue wasn't an issue.

He's been landing 4L and 4S in practice with ease. He simply is human and just didn't bring his best today with a very difficult new layout. That being said he did deliver almost 100 points TES even with the errors... There's no need to excuse him for what really wasn't that bad a skate.

Daniel is weird and creepy in a great way. I really look forward to him in the future once his jumps gets more consistent. He seems to be very popular with the ladies here.
