Now that the GP assignments are out, I thought it would be interesting to try to predict who would make the final, especially considering the new rules put into place. Here are my predictions:

- Evgenia Medvedeva
- Alina Zagitova
- Wakaba Higuchi
- Maria Sotskova/Mai Mihara (one or the other)
- Carolina Kostner
- Kaori Sakamoto/Satoko Miyahara (system is not so kind to Miyahara)

- Shoma Uno
- Nathan Chen
- Yuzuru Hanyu
- Boyang Jin
- Mikhail Kolyada
- Dmitri Aliev/Vincent Zhou

4. Jin
5. Kolyada

1. Medvedeva
2. Zagitova
3. Miyahara
4. Higuchi
5. Kostner (TES comes and goes, PCS is eternal)

It's not a prediction if you cop out on the last member by giving many options!

Well, I’ll wait to see some skaters in early comps before I make real predictions. But since I have tickets what I WANT to see happen is:
1. Wakaba
2. Tuktamysheva
3. Miyahara
4. Medvedeva
5. Sakamoto
6. Honda

1. Boyang
2. Shoma
3. Vincent or Nathan
4. Matteo Rizzo
5. Brendan Kerry (imagine the chaos, for him to make it with his one spot)
6. Keegan or Jorik

Not necessarily in that order or finish; just the orders they came to mind.

Ladies:
Alina Zagitova (shoo-in)
Evgenia Medvedeva (shoo-in)
Satoko Miyahara (should win at least one of her GPs)
Wakaba Higuchi (has difficult GPs but I can see her with 2 silvers)
Carolina Kostner (new judging system and PCS will pull her through)
Maria Sotskova (usually consistent at this point in the season)

If Carolina is propped into another GPF with disastrous FS's and sky-high PCS over others, I'm going to be seriously upset
Same goes for home-cooking skaters that are only in because of that...

My only thread prediction will be that you’re going to be seriously upset :laugh2:
