I don’t mind it when people criticize her skating, her miming, or her tanos. By all means you’re welcome to do so.
However, some people here seem to have some sort of personal problem with Evgenia, a person they don’t really know. They claim to be haters, with pride might I add, but most of their posts are about her. It’s mind boggling.

It would be better to go back to discussing the actual topic of this thread.

In addition they bring up a piece of "news" which is quite a few days old already, with absolutely no context, they don't even know WHY Yuzuru had to say that. SIGH.

Does anyone know what is happening with Alisa Fedichkina or Alena Leonova? They're not on the list - the only Russian ladies who appeared in JGP/GP last season and are not on the list...

Either retire or do CS.
I can see Leonova doing CS, and my guess for Alisa is that she will either retire or switch

Her jumps are pretty much gone, she does not stand a chance at seniors.
She either retires or switches to pairs or dance - not sure how doable it is.

I suppose because Sofia Sam is two years older. [Not fair, but that's our sport.]
Maybe something to do with coaches (à la Moriel's comments; eg #2459).
And one could add that Sofia came in 1st in Croatia, while Tarakanova came in 3rd.

That being said, at the more important Jr Grand Prix Final Sofia came in 6th, while Tarakanova came in 3rd.
At Nationals Sofia received 196.5, and at Jr. Nationals Tarakanova received 198.4.


(Measly personal opinion: Sofia is generic, Anastasia is dynamic. So yeah, why?)

I read some months ago she likes the parties more than the training...I can imagine she is beautiful probably she is very popular among the guys..

This whole age limit stuff was totally unnececcary. If the judges give the PCS points regardless of the technical points we find everything on place.

We don‘t need age limits we need judges to be fair and correct with the PCS. Not hand them out like treats on Halloween for consistency, fame or TES. Then we wouldn’t have a problem. If we look at a prime example:

Alexandra Trusova and Alena Kostornaya at WJC.

While I am aware of the fact that PCS in juniors aren‘t mostly given out like they would in senior it‘s just something I noticed.

Sasha‘s got the athletic power but little to no artistry. Her TES score is totally deserved. But her PCS in comparison to someone like Alena... too high. Or Alena‘s too low. They had a difference of about 2 points which is way too low.

(And again, I know about the junior competition thing scoring differently than seniors. But I didn‘t want to give the Zhenya/Alina example which is imo the most prominent one because I know some Zhenya haters would pop up to bash both her and me*)

Don't forget that PCS is 3/5 TES related actually, if not more. That's why differences are not so big as we expect them.

Oh. I have to admit that I really wasn‘t aware of that rule. But can I say that I don‘t like it? I mean, now you‘re saying it I do get that it does make sense but... just but. To make it a bit more evident would be nice. I mean, two points between Trusova and Kostornaya? I get that Trusova‘s TES is ridiculous but she just doesn‘t have the artistry. She just doesn‘t. Whereas Kostornaya lacks (in comparison only) in the TES. So, I still believe this should portrayed in the respective scores.
