I still wonder why they replaced her with Kostornaya at some fragments Does it mean they think Alina has such bad skating skills that they have to replace her with Kostornaya for "gliding" fragments, and only record Alina's jumps?

The real ? is did Alena get part of Alina's commision for helping her out in this commercial?

I think it's suitable for the theme of commercial - banking. Simple, neat, professional - just the way they want to be portrayed to clients.

Btw., they should totally make more of Alina vs Reddy - he impersonates other lousy banks so well and in funny way, while cool and successful Alina (Sberbank) always wins in any situation. Great idea for the whole series! :gclap:

LOL but for real as Kostornaia's biggest fan I wish she had an outside edge Lutz and Loop combo like Alina, also in both mine and Mr. Plushenko's opinion Zagi has the most beautiful air positions in women's skating right now!

She can do a loop combo. We just haven’t seen it in competition. She did 3F+3T+3Lo combo in the gala practice at JWC on Danill Instagram page.

I don't think so. Seems like they wanted to fix the video a little and Alina wasn't already available, so they invited Alena and recorded some amount of her skating for editing. There are about five seconds of Alena in the final video.

Then why would have they made two identical costumes of slightly different sizes in the first place? I find this whole "Alena appearing as Alina's substitute" thing very confusing.

Check the first comment of Olga Ryabenko (costumes designer) there. She said both dresses were made very urgently, without trying-on - but second one was ordered later and they were ordered in the same day (most likely), before shooting - but second one was ordered at 12 of night.

P.S.: well, on second thought I think that shooting was probably just before Alina went to Japan - and they were compelled to introduce some double fast since they were short of couple of seconds. Else all other explanations aren't feasible enough.
