Now this makes me wonder where are all the people who say how immoral is to share private conversations, and why arent they bashing Zhulin.
Such revelation is literally as bad and reputation damaging as the stuff Eteri revealed about her and Med's private conversations.
I wouldn't say they're equivalents. I would say it depends on the context and the timing. Zhulin was asked to give his opinion on the breakup after it happened. If he did this during the Olympics, then it would be a different story.
In my opinion, it makes Eteri look good because she is a fair coach and treats her athletes equally. Even though she like Med more, she gave Alina an equal shot at winning gold. She didn't let her personal opinion get in the way of her coaching duties.
Sharing private conversation aren't bad per se, it all depends on the motive of why you're sharing that conversation.
