I didn’t mean to do so excessively. I only mentioned this because it seemed like they were relatively happy to engage with social media (I.e confirming Sasha and Alena’s programs for this year as a result of social media questions)

I was thinking about Tarakanova's illness recently... Is it possible she's suffering from a mental illness? I had a severe mental breakdown when I was her age and could barely leave my flat, but if you look at my Facebook that time, I was enjoying Europe a month later. And yes, I was... but the pics don't show the panic attacks, my weariness, etc. Travelling is often recommended if you are mentally ill, too.

I'd rather go with her lungs. IIRC she once mentioned in interview what parents made her do swimming and figure skating because she had problems with respiratory system as child. Besides she is allergic and it doesn't help as people with allergies tend to be more prone to bronchitis and pneumonia. If she truly had lung infection recovering takes time. When I was a child I suffered from really bad case of bronchitis and it took me 2 months to be fully fit.

I just watched the Aerial Challenge and I feel like I have the craziest idea. Ting Cui should go to Eteri. She is really struggling in between coaches but who is there for her to go to? Orser and Raf are all booked up and so many of these other US coaches just ain't all that right now. But this girl has loads of talent and potential. She is 15 years old and has that tiny body that Eteri specializes in. I bet she and her team could really help with her jumps. And imagine her with Danil's choreography!

Everyone always says why would an American want to move thousands of miles away from their family and friends to Russia to train but why would an athlete from another country want to come to the US to train? Marin Honda is barely older than Ting and Eunsoo Lim is younger and they train in CA now. It isn't like she will live in Russia for the rest of her life. Eteri lived in the US for nearly a decade and speaks perfect English, she is familiar with Americans and could surely train one.

Imagine Eteri and co show up at US Nationals and Ting wins the senior ladies title with a quad. Then all four of them can do their syncro swimmer move in the KIC and everyone be like wuuuuuuuuut...:eeking:

AT this point, I am hoping she leaves Eteri, because that is much better for her than health issues.

She may have a lung infection because she as respiratory problems and allergies.

My father had lung infection some years ago and it took him about three months to get better. He lost a lot of weight really quickly. I don’t even want to imagine this happening to Tatakanova. How is she going to train??? I wonder if she’s going to skip this season... I hope not!

according to some girls she have left Novogorsk early. But there could be a lot of reasons for it. idk Family problems, she may planned to do it or whatever. She may came back in a week or not. who knows.
