i didnt thought Eteri would put combo as opening jump, i know its risky to put it as 3rd jumping pass in SP, but Alena once said she will take risk and put 3-3 as last jump to get bonus point so i thought Zagitova would do same

The difference is that if Zagitova messes the combo up, she can make up for it later.

In juniors this isn't possible. Flip must be the solo jump, period. So if Alena fails on 3Lz-3T she can't just make up for it with 3F-3T because the Flip must be the solo jump. That's why, in juniors it's probably a good idea to have the combo backloaded.

3Lz3Lo Combo looks clean for me. smoothly. even better than the last season's .
And from yesterday's news clip I would say her 3F and Charlotta into 2a was good too. I glad to see they're trying to bring back that entry.

IMO She really looks good even for a show.

I don‘t know... it looks good to me. I mean, it‘s just a show, she was probably nervous, the lighting isn‘t ideal and it‘s a new program, too. I have faith in her. She‘ll be ready. But sonething shallow: I don’t like her dress. It looks so... boring compared to last season‘s tutus. They really stood out. This one? Not so much...

I don‘t know... it looks good to me. I mean, it‘s just a show, she was probably nervous, the lighting isn‘t ideal and it‘s a new program, too. I have faith in her. She‘ll be ready.

That's what we hope for. Ever since her worlds performance I've looked for some sort of reassurance that she's gotten her jumps back. Well, I guess we'll see soon enough, when the test skate performances arrive. But it's concerning for me, at this point in time...

It does look really URed but I'd imagine it's harder to do a 3Lz-3Lo under show lights than normal ones

Well, I‘m a girl. Alina IS cute and pretty and her clothes are like literally the least important thing. It was - like I said - a shallow remark. But well, sometimes I am shallow, no point denying it. And I just feel like the dress doesn‘t do her “justice“ in some way?? I‘d like her to have something with a bit more of a ”wow!“-effect. But of course, Alina‘s skating alone is a “wow“-effect so in the end the dress is irrelevant anyway. :thumbsup:

(Jokes aside, I have this experience: when I was dating my future wife, her friends always slandered to her those dresses in which I found her beautiful, cute and sexy and recommended everything that I didn't like, jealousy )

I agree, the dress doesn’t do her justice (and it doesn’t seem to do the music justice, either, it looks very light and calm and POTO is...not). Hopefully she gets something which suits her better when she actually competes this program! It seems quite likely given that this is Diana Davis’s old dress.

Daniil did a great job, it seems, the music cut and the use of the sounds of the glass, as well as the choreo look very interesting
She'll have a new dress, that's for sure . So the program I suppose it will be memorable.:thumbsup:

But the dramatic expressions and floaty choreo don't suit Alina, imo.

I want to see this Sinitsyna girl who has the influential coach and can get 75+. I wanna see if Tarusina can be a top player. I wanna see if Trusova holds onto her #1 Junior status. I want to see NOW!!!!

I know we won’t get any video, but at least we’ll hear the results.
