2018-19 Russian Ladies' figure skating

Kurakova is like the best skater-who-has-never-gotten-chance from Russia. She's complete package.
Almost every Russian skating fan this preseason has been crying for Rostelekom spot for her! :hap57:

OMG, you do realize this is basically serious Polish medal chance at Euros, don't you!? :yahoo:

:eeking:

Until now, the Russian ladies who've been switching countries have all been third rate, mediocre skaters at best but she's a top end skater.
She is:
- beautiful,
- adorable,
- charismatic,
- radiating energy in the ice,
- good jumper,
- good performer,
- fan's favourite...

Of all the Russian girls having tough times breaking through - Kurakova! I would've never believed it! :peace::yes2::dance2:

Who is her new coach and where is her new training place?

Supposedly club "MKS Axel" in Torun.

I wrote an email to them asking for confirmation, I might explode before I receive the reply!

Just look at her domestic stats, podiums all over the place! :agree:
Last year she won and finished third in her both Russian Cup stages. Just as Shayuki wrote she is one of the top Russian juniors.

it could be someone else.
Personally, I always prefer to wait for the official confirmation)
With the same name and birth date? I guess that's possible ... Technically ... That there's a figure skater with the same name and birth date. Somehow, it seems somewhat unlikely to me, though.

Don't forget the skating skills!

See one of the step sequences like this one. Probably better skating skills than any current Russian seniors, actually.

If it’s one year from her last competition — she could compete at Polish nationals and euros and worlds! This is probably why she randomly wasn’t selected for junior nationals last year.

OMG, we've stolen Russian diamond! I almost feel bad. NOT! :taunt::rofl:

I'm so happy if that's the case because there aren't very many Russian ladies I'd be more happy to constantly see at the world / European championships. And I really think that audiences should love her. Also post-puberty so there should be no worries, right...?
