Eteri's girls are truly at least 1 step ahead at all times. I'd love to see how it plays out for all of them. It's like a game with time.

Scoring seemed a little weird in the Moscow champs SP. Edge calls on flips when the skater usually gets them on lutzes and vice versa. Seemingly random URs for some and not for others?

Not sure why there is so much doom-mongering when skaters change schools. It is healthy for the sport, the coaches and the skaters. With the occasional high-profile exception, they are handled professionally and sensitively. There may be some awkwardness and some regrets, but the majority, I am sure, are amicable and reached with mutual agreement about the benefits to the skater.

Coaches are not blind to their own limitations, and although her team is doing ever better, to the great benefit of Russian ladies fs, Panova has a quite some way to go to get where Tutberidze is. In the case of Alёna, she may well have recommended such a move in the skater's best interests. Other than those directly involved, who knows? Nobody. So the gossip can confidentally be slashed away with someone's razor.

Kanysheva is lovely. I loved her short program this year, just beautiful. Best of luck to her.

I agree totally, only I would add, for me, and her beautiful allegro long programme :luv17:

I don’t know if I should feel happy or sad hearing this information. Kanysheva and Tutberidze... that pairing never crossed my mind.

 Allow me to elicit an answer? ... Happy :)

Well, for me at least. Kanysheva was somewhat not very nice about Zagitova in a video back in the summer of 2018, which created quite a commotion in russian media and forums. For me, makes no sense to accept someone who makes fun of one of the top skaters in the team, which could lead to conflicts and discomfort among the skaters who already train there.

I don't recall that, what happened?

Well if it turns out to be true it will be good for the Eteri group to have another skater with strong basics and skating skills to elevate the level of the whole group. I will wait for an official statement or photographic evidence before 100% believing (although I am leaning towards believing it).

Sasha shows off her medals of the season and gives a heartfelt thanks to Eteri and co.

Rightfully so. And she gave credit to those who are due credit: #TeamTutberidze and all the other staff and teachers at Sambo-70, Khrustalniy rink. The continued success of the Three Awesome Aces is the result of their collective body of work, dedication and support.

Aleksandra single handedly progressed the sport of female figure skating to a whole new level of difficulty and athleticism by her power and strength. Not to forget her guts and stamina, for she hardly ever fails to win medals and rises stronger after every fall.

The whole world of figure skating eagerly awaits her entrance in senior competitions in half a year, no doubt some might fear for their positions even, but such is sport.

Devochka Tryuk, Aleksandra Tryukova, driving quads, jumping Quads, setting new standards and record breaking scores for two very successful junior cycles.

She and the other Awesome Aces from Khrustalniy, I hope they stay friends, they stay healthy, kind and gentle, they stay motivated and eager to listen and learn, and will continue to fill our hearts with amazement and joy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A712tvluaYI ("Figure skater mocks Alina Zagitova")

Girlfriend of Kanysheva says how difficult it is to answer journalists' questions.
K: "Especially stupid questions that are not clearly understood what to answer"
G:"Exactly. What do you like .... I do not know ... in training? Well, try, answer this question! Answer smoothly and not stammer like Zagitova. Mmm... well.. uh... here... mmm... tomorrow, I.... probably... can be, possible...I don't want to talk!"
Kanysheva laughs and says that she is sure that Alina refused to talk about Medvedeva (during the transfer in May) only because she cannot speak well. Her friend unexpectedly disagreed and said that she was confident that Zagitova’s refusal was due to moral reasons.

Unpleasant video, tbh. I think Alina may experience some psychological stress, especially considering that she is an introvert. But on the other hand, the video is just a 13-year-old teenager.

And here we have another @#$%@$% abusing private live stream videos captured illegally for his own intent to create discord and stir up controversy with the sole purpose to bring a figure skater down.

I don't blame the girls talking this way, they are children still and obviously like to speculate and gossip themselves a little.

I'm sorry, my English is not very good, do you attack me when writing "@#$%@$%"?
