1. The battle for the Final. Likely down to Kazakova & Reviya vs. Shanaeva & Naryzhnyy.
2. The battle for Canada's #2. With Orihara & Royer sitting home, the real fight for this spot can't even be held on paper during the JGP this season; but Fisher & Malette-Paquette seemed the most likely heir apparents after all the splits following last season, and Bronsard & Bouaraguia's score from their first JGP is super close. I'd say you want to win this battle here.
3. The battle for USA's #4? (Or possibly even #3 if the Greens don't make it back in time). Gunter & Wein have the highest U.S. JGP score after Gropman & Somerville, a win at Lake Placid International, and a 5th place at last year's Junior Nationals. The Browns have a higher domestic score this summer, split placements with G&W at the Chesapeake Open, and a 4th at last year's Novice Nationals. Other teams in the hunt, but this is an important battle here. Both teams are likely to meet up at Eastern Sectionals next.
