I wouldn't say that. Seems to me he had a longer way to climb when he skated for USA, and many more ahead of him that he needed to catch up with.

I enjoyed his Incredible Hulk and other older programs, but I think Keegan's really developed and found his chosen path. I'm a fan and want to see him do well whoever he skates for. And I'm happy that he's happy in Canada. But we USA fans still get to claim him. My opinion.

USFSA wanted him to leave Alaska, they weren't the most supportive of him staying home. They made it pretty clear he wasn't getting a chance until he jumped through their hoops. Canada allows him to live and train where he wants for the most part.

USA isn't trying to claim him, but he's an Alaskan through and through - that's more than just being from the USA. Canada can try and say there's not a difference, but Alaskans know.
