A really entertaining Pairs short programme. Real variety in the style of programmes presented.

Glad to see S/K on top, they are definitely improving skate by skate. The quality of their skating is from the very top drawer. Her jump problems slightly worry me but as long as she has them by Korea, I’ll be happy. T/M are coming from a disappointing GPF and I thought they looked nervous, again their quality is top notch. I like this programme from them, hopefully they give a clean free skate I think they need it for their own confidence.

I think Z/E gave their best skate of the season at just the right time. A well deserved score, technically they were top notch, I think this romantic style suits them. Disappointed for A/R, probably their worst short of the season at the worst possible time. I thought they had the potential to challenge for the 3rd Olympic spot but they face a big battle now. I think it will be all Team Mozer in Korea.

B/K were really fired up and gave a great performance, lovely crowd reaction to Moskvina. The other juniors did well P/K and M/G skated strongly. It will be interesting to how P/R hold up in the free, fantastic pair elements but no triple jumps will hurt them. I was amazed by E/K speed, it loooked like they were going at 100mph, again jump issues with her but I like their style.
