2019-20 U.S. Ladies Figure Skating

Has Ting's full program been discussed here?

no combos but otherwise looks solid.
She will be debuting this at the US classic in September!

THANK YOU FOR SHARING! Other than that axel, her jumps look really solid. Was so worried when I found out she was injured. She truly is a beautiful skater. That port de bras, the feeling the music... can not be taught!

I was hoping she’d have a bigger name for a choreographer to give her more “clout” with the judges for her senior debut but this program looks good. Excited to see it at US Classic!

Hanna was 4th at Nationals. My guess is that her team wanted the U.S. Classic. (As it is relatively close to home). And she has a shot at a later senior B as well if she can square herself away and bring in the scores she is capable of.

I’m guessing Hanna’s season will span out much like Ting’s last season:
- Two Junior Grand Prix events
- Possible Grand Prix Final
- Challenger or two if she does not make it to the Final
- Possible berth at 4 Continents
- Junior Worlds

A big splash at 4 Continents and continued success at Junior Worlds could set her up really well for a great debut season at the senior level internationally.

The Worlds team will be fought between Ting, Bradie, Mariah, and Karen while the two who do not make it out of the Big Four (I guess that’s their name for now) will be sent to 4 Continents alongside either Hanna, Starr, or another lady who wowed at Nationals.

Also, the solo 3T seems to be where Ting will go for the 4T. Insane talent. 2A, 3Lz+3T, and 4T seems to be the opening they’re gunning for. Let’s hope Ting stays healthy and slays all season and peaks at Worlds.

The Worlds team normally goes to 4CCs, except in Olympic years. Ashley often skipped it, but most others don’t.

Seeing how it went last season, I wouldn't be surprised if they start sending a different team to 4CC, unless of course, the main team actually wants to go to 4CC.

I think they will continue to give the Worlds team first dibs on 4CCs. Though depending on who the Worlds team is, skaters may opt out, none of them are 4CCs champs, like Ashley was.

Are we going to see Bradie before the Autumn Classic? I’m dying to know her sp; she said she wanted it to be a surprise. Hmmmm.....

And champs camp is this weekend, and we still don’t know who’s gotten the SA host spot?!?!

Thanks for posting Ting's program. She is so graceful and natural on the ice. Frankly - more so than Bradie. I think the women's competitions are wide open this year. As always, I would like to see Mariah do well - wish she could be more consistent.

I saw that Tennell and Chen are assigned to Skate America Las Vegas, but the 3rd spot says TBD. Do you know who is in contention for that spot?

The general feel on this thread has been that the spot will likely go to Amber Glenn, as she has outscored other contenders this summer (like Megan W and Starr).

Amber Glenn. She scored highest of all the seniors that didn’t have a GP spot this year.

Well now (perhaps?) it's just the stamina question. I am happy to suspect that we will be seeing Ms. Gold at Nats!!! I hope we can see a run-through soon.

I didn't see a solo 3T in there? Would be cool if she went for a 4T, but I doubt it because of the recent injury.
