2019-20 U.S. Ladies Figure Skating

Sarah Jung is coached by Pam Gregory according to her ISU biography. Gregory coached Kimmie Meissner. Sarah's Free during the summer included a 3A, 3Lz+3T, and 3F+Eu+3S. I'm not sure if she will be attempting the 3A.

She was on the ice during one of our FS sessions last weekend and looked amazing. I really like her and have fingers crossed for the free skate tomorrow.

Sending good vibes to Mariah Bell. She leads after the SP and I hope she can bring home the gold.

68.45. A slim lead over second place so she really needs to be great in the free to get the gold.

Mariah looks great. Congratulations to her for winning the short. Looks like she has a new 3-3, flip-toe, but it got an under. It's close between her and Yelim so it will come down to the free.

Side note: I'm kind of surprised Nebelhorn doesn't have live results.

Heading to bed and hoping that I wake up to news of Mariah winning the gold. I hope she can really break out and own this year.

Wow. Mariah bell is really stepping it up this year! 205 total at her first competition of the season WITH a clean 3-3 and an amazing new long program (Couldn’t see the short :P) She looked so confident on the ice and very well prepared.

Mariah did amazing!! She's such a beautiful skater! The only thing that put me off was the colour of her tights - they're really quite orange and a very different colour to her upper body where she's naturally quite pale, and the contrast was just quite obvious and bugging me.
But the skating was fab and she nailed a clean 3-3!

Good morning Scout!

you got you wish.

Great way to begin my day! A beautiful performance from Mariah to start her season! :yahoo:

I'm so happy for her and love to see the smile and the joy she exudes. I know this is a relatively lower pressure competition, but she handled the pressure of leading after the short really well.

Looking forward to seeing her short.

I am hoping her this competition will set her up with the confidence she needs for the rest of the season. In her last interview, she sounded more sure of herself and confident in her abilities and it definitely paid off here. I hope she can use that momentum through the gp season.

I'm so happy for Mariah. She clearly wants to stay on the Podium at Nationals and this was a great start to her season.:party2:

YAY!!! Good job Mariah!! I really like that program for her and I like her dress too!! That was a good save on the loop!! I wish that Mariah would hold her landings a little longer, but that is just me being picky lol. What a great start to her season!!:hap93:
