2019 U.S. Nationals Senior Men FS

Ouch.

On the positive side, it's a good cut of the WSS score. Not the usual bits.

But it's a uhm not great skate when that's the best you can say.

Can't we just pretend that the 3A-3T was the only jump he attempted

Raf, please save this boy.:(

Will his JGP results be enough to get him a Junior Worlds placement?

Not sure. Both Tomoki and Andrew also made the final, and Alexei wants to go again.

I don't think he needs to be too worried, US has 3 spots and the top 3 juniors are by far him, Tomoki and Andrew T

Alexei is still eligible and wants to go

I was gonna say something snarky, but the crushed look on Camden's face knocked it out of me. Poor guy.

I really can't tell if Camden's issues are mental or technique, but I hope he can get the help he needs.

Pre-emptive hot take: the juniors worlds team camp got raised eyebrows for the women, but it may be exactly what USFS needs for the men's team selection.

Honestly ... I might prefer they send Emmanuel. I think Alexei ought to stay in Seniors, and I think Camden has enough reputation to move up in Seniors as well, without a Jr. Worlds appearance this year. But I'd like to see Emmanuel get some more int'l experience.

The curse is broken, Tim can finish no lower than 6th.

So far not the most uplifting skates... Will the last group change things

Ah Camden. He actually had the third best score in the FS of the JUNIORS and overall the second best after Ryan Dunk. What a letdown for him. I do like his skating a hell of a lot. He's very mature. Pity.
