Amazing how Nathan can be a bit sloppy on the GP even with winning everything but then he comes to Nationals and doesn't put a foot wrong. He did the same thing last year. This kid knows how to peak at the right time.

+5/-5 makes it very easy to gain a lot of extra GoE points.

Frankly, I know we all side eye nationals inflation, but I'd be hard pressed to disagree with +5s across the board for almost all of Nathan's jumps.

Nathan's jumps were gorgeous. The program looks a lot better. I want more out of the beginning of the program still, but I'm excited to see where this will be at Worlds.

Vincent is a nice skater but I feel like he is just skating through his elements. There really isn't any substance in between them.

If he doesn't get several UR's the tech panel is doing him a disservice.

Really enjoyed Vincent's: music, costume, and Rippon jumps. He still needs to work on his audience connection and those hooked landings.

Hahahahahaha, Nathan is amazing but that score is a joke.

Man, I kind of hard disagree with that. Yeah, I know there's probably some inflation going on, but that skate was SO GOOD. He'd deserve that score at an international event, or very close to it.

... I'm hardcore losing my mind over Nathan's skate right now.

Lots of jumps under review. But I enjoyed that program quite a lot! If he skates it clean it could be a masterpiece. And I like his costume.

I will add that I've been pleasantly surprised by Tara and Johnny's commentary for the men. They've been fair, haven't talked a ton during the programs and have generally been pretty positive for each skater. I appreciated and enjoyed their commentary this time.

I don't think I have fully recovered from Nathan's free yet. He finished and just flipped his hair like it was nothing. A fully clean competition at the right time in the season.
